Accessing the QC Finder
After your agent purchases your items and they arrive at the warehouse, log into your Kakobuy account. Navigate to the warehouse or orders section. Each item will show a status, and when QC photos are ready, you will see a notification or a "View Photos" button. Click it to open the Kakobuy QC finder gallery. Photos are typically taken from the front, back, sides, and close-ups of key details.
The Inspection Checklist
Systematically review every photo using a mental checklist. First, check overall shape and proportions. Does the item look like the seller's photos? Second, examine stitching quality. Are seams straight and thread colors correct? Third, inspect logos and branding. Are they positioned properly and sized accurately? Fourth, check materials. Does the fabric look right for the price point? Fifth, verify tags and labels. Do they match the authentic version? For a printable version, see our haul checklist.
Requesting Better Photos
If the default QC photos are unclear or missing key angles, request additional shots. Common requests include close-ups of logos, interior tags, hardware details, and specific problem areas. Most agents charge a small fee, usually 5 to 10 yuan per extra photo. This is worth it for expensive items or when you suspect a flaw. Submit your request through the QC finder interface with clear instructions like "Please take a close-up of the front logo." Good agents respond within 24 hours.
Making the Final Decision
Once you have all the photos you need, decide whether to approve or reject each item. Minor flaws that are not visible when worn, like slightly imperfect interior stitching, are usually acceptable. Major issues like crooked logos, wrong colors, or obvious construction defects should be rejected. If you reject an item, you can request an exchange, a refund, or store credit. The agent will handle communication with the seller. For more guidance, read our QC finder overview.
